We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable General Maintenance / Handy Person to keep our busy pet hotel in top shape. This isn’t a role where you just call in trades, you ARE the trades.

About the role:

• Daily maintenance, repairs, and odd jobs around our facility
• Our plumbing, doors, fencing & systems are unique:  not always  “standard household” fixes
• Expect to paint, repair, clear brush, landscape, build/patch everything, troubleshoot plumbing ( all visible), and generally keep our property safe and functional
• Both indoor and outdoor work, year-round, in a physical and active environment

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is confident with tools and repairs across multiple trades at a competent DIY level (plumbing, carpentry, fencing, painting, general upkeep)
• Enjoys problem-solving and finding practical solutions
• Is physically fit, hardworking, and reliable
• Doesn’t mind variety — no two days are the same

About the role:

• Weekend shifts, school holidays, stat holidays, plus the potential for occasional after-school evenings
• Hands-on pet care, cleaning, feeding, exercise, and playtime (training provided)
• You’ll gain work experience, earn certifications, and learn professional pet care

• Caregiver Level 3 & Senior Caregiver → Taking leadership in routines, helping with customer updates
• Supervisor & Beyond → Managing shifts, customer service, certified professional caregiver
